No matter how you say it, St. Joseph High School welcomes you to another year of the “Jester” life!
Do you smell it? The aroma of a newly purchased textbook mixed with the crisp fall air.
Can you hear it? The sound of the bell beckoning you to your seats once again.
Do you feel it? The rush of excitement through your veins as a new beginning awaits you.
YES! It’s that time of year again. The time for a fresh start, brand new school supplies, long-awaited reunions, and stimulating education—yes, it’s time to embark on a new journey into the unknown.
Greetings fellow Jesters, faculty and staff, parents, guardians, and the collective Saint Joseph community! As the 2009-2010 school year has quickly arrived, it is time to return to what has become our home away from home, our school community. Returning from our journeys over the summer we gather once more for the countless days that lie ahead— exhilarating rallies, late night cram sessions, memorable dances, what seems to be endless homework, trips to the Jester café, and new friendships waiting to be made.
As we each step foot on campus once more, we keep in mind the new editions to our Saint Joseph family. Pooh Bears, the new “freshies” on campus—welcome to a whole new world unlike any other. More than just a typical high-school experience, walk through your new found hallways proudly expecting the exciting Jester lifestyle. Mickeys, now the big, bad sophomores—it’s time to start planning the highlight of sophomore year, the sophomore lock-in! Donalds, the beauties in blue—as upper class women in waiting, expect a memorable Junior Ring ceremony symbolic of your journey thus far as sisters. And last but not least, the Kermits, senior class of 2010—we’ve made it to the home stretch! Enjoy every second of our well-deserved senior privileges, as this is our time to take center stage! As Sisters of the Traveling Plaid, we will lead Saint Joseph into a new adventure!
 As true women of character, this year will be a year of growth for all of us as we continue to strive to become all of which women are capable. Faced with new, challenging experiences, we will rise to the occasion as any Jester would otherwise. We will live our days to the fullest as the embodiment of love, hope, and zeal. It’s time to give our best as nothing short of our best is expected.
With that said…
It’s that time…to embrace change.
