Instrumental Music
There are a number of ways to get involved musically on campus. If you already play an instrument, the drama musicals often need a range of instruments. If you would like to learn how to play, Saint Joseph offers some unique options.
Our Heritage Festival Gold Percussion Ensemble performs a variety of musical styles from classical transcriptions to jazz and ethnic music. Instruments include mallet keyboards, drums, and various auxiliary percussion. The ensemble has, and continues to participate in the Anaheim Heritage Festival, in which the group earned 1st Place Gold awards in 2005, 2008, and 2010. They have also participated in a recently established local event known as SCPEF (Southern California Percussion Ensemble Festival).
