Patricia Ponzcocha is celebrating her 45th year as an educator, and 40th year at Saint Joseph High School. She has committed her life to helping children and teenagers reach their full potential in school. Pat received her Bachelors Degree in Mathematics at Mount St. Mary’s College, and also earned a Single Subject Credential. She later made her way to Loyola Marymount University, and earned a Masters Degree in Education and an Administrative Credential.
Her tenure in the Los Angeles Archdiocese begin at St. Mary’s Academy in Inglewood, California, where she taught in the Mathematics Department and Religion Department. She later made her way down to Lakewood, California and began teaching at Saint Joseph High School. Since her time at SJ, Pat has been a teacher, Department Chair, Activities Director, Vice Principal, and Assistant Principal for Curriculum.
